Dr John is a General Surgeon practicing in a broad range of surgical emergencies and elective surgery.
Mr John came to Albury in 2016, after working for eight years at the Royal Darwin Hospital. He joined Darwin as a Fellow in 2008 and over the next eight years, was appointed as a consultant in 2010,
passed his Australian Surgical Fellowship in 2012, helped found and manage the Surgical Acute Care Unit in 2012 and, in 2014 was appointed the Head of Surgery at the Royal Darwin Hospital.
Dr John treats public and private patients in the Albury Wodonga area, as well as Corowa, Deniliquin and Finley, with a clinical interest in Colorectal, Hernia, Breast and Thyroid Surgery,
He is GESA certified in gastroscopy and colonoscopy including endoscopic interventions such as oesophageal and colonic stenting, achieving colonoscopy re-certification in 2020.
